9/20/08 USMC Mud Run Columbia, SC

We survived our 3rd year at the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Ultimate Challenge Mud Run. The Mud Run is an annual competition in Columbia, SC. The 4.2 mile all terrain race, on dirt roads and trails, contains numerous obstacles including mud holes, walls, trenches and logs. These obstacles require swimming, crawling, climbing and jumping which test the competitor's endurance, strength, stamina, and teamwork.
Last year 's casualty included Chief's broken wrist. This year Rob F. probably tore some meniscus in his knee...bummer.....but he was a real trooper. Everyone got muddy and pushed themselves to limits that they may have not thought they could. HOOAH!!!!
